The Board of Directors of the Foundation is comprised of twenty-five members, which includes recognized community leaders and practicing oncologists. The charge of the Foundation, as approved by its Board is:
1. To accelerate the Foundation's important research activities with the addition of new clinical trials, which also involves collaborative efforts with other respected research centers. The ultimate goal is to develop improved treatments benefiting cancer patients, leading to possible cures;
2. To expand the Foundation's educational and community service activities involving the establishment of several education support groups for cancer patients and their families. |
