About Us
When cancer strikes we could be your greatest ally.
Tower Cancer Research Foundation, located on the Westside of Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, is a non-profit cancer foundation dedicated to cutting edge cancer treatment that is administered with a compassionate, human perspective.
The Foundation works to maintain a level of patient centered care that larger cancer research institutes simply cannot match. Our physicians are with the patient from the moment they walk in the door and they remain by their side every step of the way.
Tower Cancer Research Foundation has active and growing research affiliations for the performance of hematology and oncology clinical trials with Translational Genomics Institute (T-GEN), a non-profit institute located in Phoenix, AZ, utilizes the science of genetic research as the basis for new drug discoveries, US Oncology Research, Pancreas Cancer Research Team, and the Lymphoma Research Consortium, among others.
Because we believe in treating the whole person, we also provide patient support services and cancer resources such as patient mentoring, a cancer support groups, free workshops on topics such as acupressure and nutrition, and support for caregivers. We provide a free Information and Resource referral service to the Los Angeles community to help navigate the overwhelming world brought on by a cancer diagnosis.
To disseminate the most current cancer information, we have several educational newsletters on cancer research and our active clinical trials. These are newsletters geared to the lay public as well as physicians and oncologists. We also hold free public lecture series on cancer topics and conduct symposia for medical professionals.
In line with our mission to advance cancer research on every level, we support physician scientists with awards of annual grants to those doing cutting edge bench-to-bedside lab research.
In addition to expanding cancer treatment options, we provide treatments for blood and genetic disorders such as Gaucher disease and Pompe disease and have the largest Gaucher program west of the Mississippi.
